Alt Country Funk Grass

Barbwire stretches across the land. It’s the iconic symbol of the West where Coloradans Jon Mitguard and Dana Rath grew up. Country western music was the sound of this place, and while Barbwyre has country at its roots, their musical attractions are diverse. Separately but at about the same time both Jon and Dana settled in San Rafael, CA to flourish in the vast musical landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Dana, Jon, Rob, and Dan welcome you to the land of Barbwyre,  an eclectic American melting pot of alt country funk grass.
